Following at No. 2 is Ed Sheeran, whose album X leaps from No. 6. The disc was helped by special pricing (99 cents) in the Google Play store. Dr. Dre‘s Compton falls one spot to No. 3, while N.W.A.‘s Straight Outta Compton bursts from No. 30 to No. 4, helped by the theatrical release of the eponymously-named film. Rounding out the top five is the Now 55 compilation. That disc dropped two spots.
Melanie Martinez‘s debut full-length album, Cry Baby, moved 40,000 units in its first week, good enough to enter the chart at No. 6. Following at No. 7 is Taylor Swift‘s 1989, which drops two spots to No. 7.
Bullet for My Valentine‘s latest, Venom, debuted at No. 8 after shifting 28,000 units. Future‘s DS2 falls two spots to No. 9, and Sam Hunt‘s Montevallo falls one spot to No. 10
